At least seven people around New Jersey have been sickened after eating Romaine lettuce tainted with E. coli, according to the latest report by the
CDC.
That number has risen since their previous update back on Nov. 26, where just one resident had been affected.
The latest report also says the nationwide outbreak has topped more than 100 cases.
Health officials in New York have not reported any illnesses.
Symptoms include dehydration, diarrhea and fever. People generally recover within a week.
