The Greens at Cannondale in Wilton just opened up its new Stamford Health Geriatric Assessment Center.

Doctors say with such a growing older population, there is a demand for more geriatricians.

"We do a very comprehensive assessment," said Dr. Alison McElhone. "We have some different testing that we do here and hopefully we provide a lot of education to the patient and families that will help them feel more empowered."
