The future of Westchester County was under discussion by the mayors of the three largest cities in Westchester Monday afternoon.

The mayors of Yonkers, White Plains and New Rochelle met with real estate professionals in New Rochelle to proclaim that the future of Westchester's cities have never been brighter.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, White Plains Mayor Tom Roach and New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson say development in the largest cities is increasing and people are moving back. They say interest in the Hudson Valley has never been higher.

They insist that not only is development booming in the cities in recent years, but people are also moving back in droves and interest has never been higher in what the communities have to offer.

Bramson says they have dozens of projects underway - the most in the history of his city. Spano points to his deal with the movie studio Lionsgate as proof Yonkers is headed in the right direction.

All the mayors say they share the goal of attracting more retail and restaurants to their communities.
