Quick reflexes may have saved a man's life in Suffolk Tuesday.
Surveillance video shows the man barely getting out of the way of an oncoming car as it plows into a storefront.
Three employees were inside of Hometown Insurance at the time of the crash. No one inside was injured.
In video from the insurance company, 26-year-old Shannon Doherty can be seen at the receptionist desk. In the video, she looks up just as the vehicle heads straight at her. She jumps up onto her chair and narrowly escapes being crushed.
The video shows the car hopping the curb in a parking lot on Union Boulevard in West Islip before slamming into the storefront.
Police say the 86-year-old driver and his 82-year-old wife were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
