A man was killed after a truck he was lying under crushed him, police say.
The incident happened Tuesday in front of 1177 Flushing Ave. around 4:52 p.m.
Police say the 49-year-old man was lying under the truck when the driver rolled over him.
Police say the victim may have been a homeless man who was looking for shelter during a downpour of rain Tuesday.
The 41-year-old driver of the truck told investigators he was making a delivery at the location when he parked at a loading dock for 30-minutes without incident.
No arrests were made and police are not releasing the name of the man until his family has been notified.
