Man accused of exposing himself at Wantagh pool
A Queens man is accused of exposing himself to a teen lifeguard at a public pool in Wantagh.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Forest City Park pool. According to court papers, 33-year-old Wilson Kenney sat on a bench near a 17-year-old lifeguard by the kids' pool and began "acting in a very sexual manor, rubbing his legs and groin area."
The lifeguard says Kenney then unzipped his shorts and exposed himself.
People who frequent the pool say they saw Kenney there regularly last summer. Some say he "stuck out" because he wore a full face of makeup, had his nails done and didn't have any children with him.
Kenney was arraigned Monday and released to probation so he could undergo an immediate psychiatric evaluation. He also signed an order of protection to stay away from the lifeguard.
Kenney has no prior criminal history, News 12 is told.
