A man has been accused of burglary and attacking his 8-year-old neighbor with a mop.
Investigators say Matthew Levine broke into his neighbor's house on Foster Lane in Westbury yesterday, grabbed a mop and hit the girl who was sleeping in her bed.
The child's mom allegedly ran across the street to get help.
Levine has been charged with burglary.
