Local retailers donate dresses for Hempstead High School prom
Scores of teens flooded Hempstead High School Saturday in search of the perfect prom dress. Eight stores in Nassau County donated over 400 new dresses for female prom-goers at Hempstead High School. One high school senior says this event leaves her one less thing to worry about. Other students said the dresses looked absolutely gorgeous. School officials say this is the second year for the event.
