3h agoA Garden City building will now forever honor a Long Islanders who dedicated her life to helping those with disabilities.
The Life’s Worc headquarters is now named after its founder – Victoria Schneps-Yunis.
Schneps-Yunis began speaking up for children with developmental disabilities in the 1970s.
She then founded the nonprofit Life’s Worc which now cares for 2,000 people.
