With less than 2 days left until Christmas, thousands of Long Islanders are flocking to area shopping malls for last-minute gifts. Shoppers at the Roosevelt Field Mall say they have several reasons for buying so late in the holiday season, including procrastination and waiting for their holiday bonuses. Many stores are offering deep discounts and are open for extended hours.
