Vince Feola will be running the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday for the first time.

Three years ago, Feola suffered a heart attack.

"I was suddenly given a second chance to do what I always wanted to do," he says.

The 51-year-old Massapequa Park resident says his local running community has kept him on the right track toward a healthy and active lifestyle.

"At the time of my heart attack my wife had just gotten through breast cancer. We thought the journey was over and now we have a new journey," he says.

Feola says he hopes to finish the New York City on Sunday in under seven hours.
