Ice causes cleanup challenge for crews
The snow and freezing rain is making it tough for road crews today.
News 12 Long Island's Elyse Evans was at the Babylon town yard where they have been working through the night to try and keep up with keeping the roads clear.
Gov. Cuomo says the state is providing 400 tons of extra salt to Long Island towns today due to a shortage in many places.
In addition, additional plows will also be sent to help clear the roads.
