A wall of graffiti behind Tracey Towers has caught the eye of an anti-graffiti group in the borough and now they're calling for the eyesore to be removed.
Heather and Sirio Guerino are the two minds behind the organization Guerinos Against Graffiti. Their mission is to make the Bronx graffiti-free.
Over the years, the husband-and-wife duo have worked to rid the borough of graffiti.
"What we do is we reach out to local elected officials and businesses and let them know they have graffiti and ask them to remove it and so far we've been very successful," says Heather Guerino.
Heather Guerino was driving down Paul Avenue when she noticed graffiti behind Tracey Towers, across from Dewitt Clinton High School. She also found garbage in the area. Now, she's calling on the building management to rectify the eyesore.
News 12 spoke with Tracey Towers residents about the graffiti and some residents say they didn't notice. Others says they don't mind the graffiti if it is done well.
Guerinos Against Graffiti says they won't stop until the borough is free of graffiti.
