Homecoming weekend kicks off at Walt Whitman High School

The festivities started Friday afternoon with a carnival. There’s also a controlled bonfire lit by the Huntington Manor Fire Department and the annual powder puff football game.

Homecoming weekend is officially underway at Walt Whitman High School.
The festivities started Friday afternoon with a carnival. There’s also a controlled bonfire lit by the Huntington Manor Fire Department and the annual powder puff football game.
The powder puff game is a decades-old tradition, where the juniors take on the seniors with bragging rights on the line.
Walt Whitman High School will hold its homecoming parade and football game on Saturday.
