High school students compete in robotics competition (4/5/13)

UNIONDALE - Hundreds of students gathered today in Uniondale for a robotics competition.

High school students from Long Island and the Metropolitan area joined a school from Brazil to design the best robot.

The technology teams were given building instructions in January.

The event's sponsors say along with the goal of having fun, they are looking for future engineers.

The winning teams will be announced on Saturday.
