Throughout the Bronx Friday, residents were treated to dozens of events focusing on healthy living.
The events were all part of "Bronx Week" in the Bronx. Residents learned about proper portion size and what healthy foods to give kids.
Some of the health fairs also featured acupuncture, Zumba classes and blood pressure screenings.
Montefiore Hospital is the main sponsor of "Bronx Week." One hospital worker says the events are important because of all the health problems plaguing the borough.
