There are some closures on the Grand Concourse this week that could affect travelers.

According to the Division of Bridges in the city's Department of Transportation, the busy underpass on the Grand Concourse will be closed for repairs Tuesday night. Drivers will need to use service roads on 167th Street to avoid the closure.

Crews will be fixing a damaged column overnight until 5 a.m. Wednesday. Residents say the construction is long overdue.

The underpass will also be closed Wednesday night and all day Saturday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
