Mill Neck community members showed their support for a 2-year-old who is fighting a mysterious illness.

Brooke Corey is critically ill with an undiagnosed disease, and the family's medical bills are adding up.

"It's mind-blowing and overwhelming, I'm trying not to cry," says Sheri Corey, Brooke's mother.

The family says about two months ago, Brooke stopped eating and walking and became constantly lethargic.

Since then, Brooke has seen countless doctors and had several procedures and tests, with no answers coming from them.

Nassau County Legislator Josh Lafazan saw the family's GoFundMe page and says he felt he should do something. He then organized Monday's fundraiser at the Oyster Bay Brewery.

The event had raffles and items auctioned off, with over $15,000 raised so far for the family.
