Friends, family remember Bronx teens who died in waters off City Island
Friends and family are remembering four Bronx teens Tuesday who drowned in the waters off City Island three years ago.
Max Guarino, Charles Wertenbaker, Henry Badillo and Andrew Melnikov died when their boat began to take on water. One of the teens called 911 from a cell phone but the call wasn't traceable. Since that time, the city has installed tracking technology into the 911 system.
