Free vaccines offered following potential hepatitis A exposure
Nassau County is giving out free vaccines to Long Islanders who may have been exposed to hepatitis A.
As News 12 reported, a worker at the 7-Eleven on Jerusalem Avenue in Merrick tested positive for the virus.
Health officials say customers who visited the store between Feb. 1 and March 6 may have been exposed.
The vaccines are being offered Sunday and Monday.
