? A former Cardinal Spellman football player may have left the nest, but he hasn?t forgotten where it all started for him.
Dan O?Connell, a 1972 graduate, has donated $750,000 to the school to build new stands, upgrade the field and other accommodations. O?Connell is the CEO and founder of Vestar Capital Partners.
O?Connell says he?s just happy to give back to the community and school that did so much for him.
