Ramapo firefighters responded to a car fire on Old Nyack Turnpike on Monday.

The driver of the vehicle escaped the blaze unharmed.

According to officials, the driver told police she had just picked up the car from a mechanic and was driving home when the vehicle suddenly caught fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
