HOLTSVILLE - As the snow continues to melt on Long Island - are we in for six more weeks of winter, or an early spring?

News 12's Erin Colton visited the Holtsville Ecology Site where Holtsville Hal did not see his shadow.

For the 20th year, the groundhog predicted that it will be an early spring.

The weather was so bad last year, that he canceled his annual appearance!

Malverne Mel also did not see his shadow.
