JONES BEACH - Donald Trump and state parks officials have agreed to cancel the Trump on the Ocean project at Jones Beach.

Officials say the decision was a result of the damage caused to the area by Sandy. They also report that they still hope to build something at the boardwalk location.

Jones Beach will remain closed for several more months while crews work to repair the extensive damage.
