BETHPAGE - Town of Oyster Bay officials held a seminar to teach residents how to best prepare for future hurricanes.

The program involved discussions about evacuation plans and other forms of preparedness. News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Bill Korbel was a guest speaker. 

The event was held at the Morrelly Homeland Security Center in Bethpage.
