SOUTHAMPTON - The sixth season of "Real Housewives of New York" is heating up, but one housewife skipped the drama to help support the Southampton Animal Shelter. Aviva Drescher hit up the fundraiser in style and set the record straight about her housewife life and her time in the Hamptons.

"I think this is the craziest season ever, and I think it's the best season ever because it has everything and it has a lot of humor," says Drescher.

However, she says her life off-screen in the Hamptons is really tame and very kid-oriented. She says her time out east is her down time with her family. But when the cameras are rolling in the Hamptons, "it's a whole different thing, us girls is like an explosion," she adds.

Drescher says despite rumors of getting the boot this season, rest assured she will be there for the reunion and the rest of season six.

"Real Housewives of New York" airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
