OYSTER BAY - Parents looking to entertain their kids while they get exercise should head to Fit Fusion Interactive in Oyster Bay.

Kids at Fit Fusion have to peddle a bike or hop on an elliptical in order to power up their games.  There are various games and exercises, such as keyboard races and tests of endurance.

Dawn Hauner, of Fit Fusion Interactive, says it’s so much fun for the kids that parents sometimes can’t get them to leave when it’s over.

According to a University of Montreal study, ‘exer-gaming’ is legitimate and it even suggests schools and community centers start similar programs.

Fit Fusion Interactive offers programs for kids six days a week.
