PATCHOGUE - The holiday season was ushered in with music a few weeks ago at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.

People of all ages got to listen to music and even join in during the second annual Holiday Concert & Community Sing-A-Long.

Organizer Dwight Lee Wolter, the pastor of the Congregational Church of Patchogue, says it's a great way to feel the joy of the season.

"So who's the star of the show? The orchestra, the blues maestro, the folk Goddess? Or the audience? And the answer is, they all are," he says.

Proceeds from the show benefited soup kitchens in the area, as well as the group Long Island Against Domestic Violence.
