KINGS PARK - It may not be as well known as some other boardwalks, but Sunken Meadow State Park on Long Island's North Shore offers a boardwalk with a great view and a fun hidden treasure during the summer months.

Every Wednesday evening for the last seven years Sunken Meadow's boardwalk comes to life with music, fun and food.

Sunken Meadow's Seafood Fest at the Beach is a perfect place to take in a scenic view while enjoying lobster, clams, mussels, shrimp, potatoes and corn, all on one plate for just $25.

The fest also offers live music from a variety of different bands, beer, wine and ice cream, as well as fun activities for children, such as hoola hooping.

The fishy feast starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. through Sept. 7.
