MANHASSET - It's not only kids going shopping for back to school, some teachers got a whole new look too.
Newsday chose three top teachers and gave them a lesson in style. News 12 Long Island's Elisa DiStefano tagged along on the assignment.
Seaford High School Spanish teacher Rodolfo Gonzalez was up for the change.
"I enjoy change and I try to be as varied in my classroom as I am as a person," says Gonzalez.
Sharon Lane, an instructor at Western Suffolk BOCES, got a new look from hair to toe.
Erin Marone, a library media specialist at Dayton Avenue Elementary School in Manorville, also had a major transformation.
Hair and makeup was done at nuBest Salon and Spa in Manhasset.
