FAIR HARBOR - This week for our 12 Weeks of Summer series we are in Fire Island to check out the spots that are all about summer fun.

News 12 Long Island's Daniel Campbell took a water taxi to visit Fair Harbor.

The beach community, with its beautiful beaches and laid back bare foot living, is a family favorite because this little piece of heaven is perfect for kids.

With its own bayside swimming beach, parents can relax while the kids dig, splash and explore.

Bikes and wagons are the main way to get around in the quiet community.

If you need anything while in Fair Harbor check out Corliss on the Bay. They have everything you need to make your trip wonderful.
