CORAM - To top off News 12 Long Island’s 12 Weeks of Summer steals and deals week, we’re taking you to the bowling alley where Coram Country Lanes is offering free bowling for two days!

It’s called its Bowling Blast Off and owner Joe Laspina says the free bowling not only kicks off its league season but it's also a way to get people interested in bowling again. Today and tomorrow the alley not only offers free bowling from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., but also a bunch of attractions in the parking lot, including an outdoor bowling lane!

If you’re not so great at knocking those pins down, Coram Country Lanes offers free bowling lessons throughout the year as part of its Bowling 2.0 program. For one hour a week, participants will watch a video on some techniques and then put those skills to use with instructors.

And if you’re not so bad, why not join a league? The alley has leagues for all ages, including the Junior League, which is for ages 3 to 21.

The bowling alley also has a mini-bowling room, which is perfect for kids to practice. It’s also a great party room.

Again, the free bowling is today and tomorrow from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. However, there are other ways to score a free game. Click on the links on the left to find out how.
