Bracco's brings back silent dance parties to Freeport this summer.

FREEPORT - If you like to dance into all hours of the morning, there's a summer spot along Freeport's Nautical Mile where loud music is no longer a problem.

News 12 Long Island's Alex Dollin found a quieter way to party in today's 12 Weeks of Summer segment.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights when the clock strikes 11, the outside speakers shut off at Bracco's, but the party moves on.

The DJ continues mixing music, but you won't hear it unless you have a pair of special headphones.

Last year Bracco's introduced the silent dance parties in order to please neighbors living near the Nautical Mile. The owner says the move helped them comply with the local noise ordinance, while letting Long Islanders party into all hours of the morning.

You have to be 21 to get in and headphones are $10 to rent plus a cover charge.

This year, Bracco's also introduced Long Island's youngest DJ. DJ Skittles is only 10 years old, but he's already mixing music for people two and three times his age.
