BAYVILLE - It’s summer time! And what better way to wind down a lazy day than to have a nice dinner or drinks and watch the sunset? The website TripAdvisor offers a list of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, and some are on Long Island, including Wall’s Wharf in Bayville.

The restaurant offers picturesque views as the sun goes down on the water. “Everyone starts jumping with their cellphones…it’s pretty wild here. It’s a lot of fun,” says Woody Woodstock, of Wall’s.

Some describe the sunset at Wall’s as magical. The owners say that it’s so magical, they’ve had more than 100 marriage proposals at the restaurant.

Whether it’s before or after the sun goes down, Wall’s offers a variety of specialties, including watermelon beet salad, tuna tartar and a chilled seafood platter.
