Family of Bronx man files suit in crane death
The family of a Bronx man who was killed in a Manhattan crane collapse has filed a $100 million lawsuit against New York City, several construction companies and the crane's owners and operators.
Ramadan Kurtaj and another man, Donald Leo, died May 30, 2008, when the crane collapsed on the Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Leo's family joined the Kurtaj family in filing wrongful death lawsuits Monday in state Supreme Court.
