Fairfield Prep students accused of anti-Semitic chanting

The Fairfield College Preparatory School has apologized for an anti-Semitic incident at a high school lacrosse game last week.
People in the stands on the Fairfield Prep side allegedly chanted hateful words at Jewish players on the opposing team in a tightly contested playoff game between Fairfield and Staples High School last Wednesday.
Some parents on the Staples side say they found urine on the school and their cars.
Staples' lacrosse coach Paul McNulty says he's never seen such behavior in years spent coaching high schoolers.
McNulty sent a letter to Fairfield administrators saying security video shows members of the prep school's booster club urinating in the parking lot.
The Rev. Thomas Simisky, the school president at Fairfield Prep, says he sent a letter to parents and students warning them such behavior would not be tolerated. And at the school's graduation ceremony Sunday, he expressed his dismay.
"I cannot tell you how disappointed and upset I was to learn of this, especially given the many initiatives this year to address race, equality and inclusion issues," he said.
Simisky says he is meeting with local rabbis Tuesday to apologize and to work on the issue.
