Ex-Manalapan-Englishtown school official admits to improperly touching 19-year-old man

A former Monmouth County school board member had admitted that he improperly touched a 19-year-old man over the Labor Day weekend last year at his home.
Joseph Tringali, 47, pleaded guilty Tuesday to criminal sexual contact, but is expected to avoid a prison term.
The Manalapan man is expected to receive a probation term when he's sentenced on April 24. He will have to register as a sex offender.
Tringali initially was charged with aggravated sexual assault. Monmouth County prosecutors have said he improperly touched the victim, who was sleeping on a couch at Tringali's house. After his arrest, Tringali resigned from the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Board of Education.
