Long Island's first recreational marijuana dispensary is set to open this weekend.
Strain Stars is set for a grand opening Saturday with a DJ and food trucks.
Strain Stars CEO Yuvraj Singh says those who want to come out should expect there to be a line.
"From the support we've gotten, it's looking like it's going to be a big turnout," Singh says.
Customers who must be 21 and over will be greeted by one of the 15 staff members to help them make their purchase.
There is a 3-ounce daily limit on purchases.
Strain Stars says they will have extra armed security both inside and outside the store.
Employees have been working to open the store for over two years.
"We're here to set an example," says Strain Stars chief operating officer Kamaldeep Singh
Strain Stars opens at 12 p.m. and closes at 8 p.m.
