This ‘Karate Kid’ isn’t a kid anymore, but that doesn’t mean he’s not active. Miller Place actor Ralph Macchio is gearing up for the New York State Senior Games in June.

News 12’s Elisa DiStefano caught up with Macchio, who’s always on the move, at Synergy Fitness in Baldwin to find out how he stays fit and healthy.

“I do crunches, sit ups” says Macchio, who says working the core is always important at any age.

Macchio teamed up with Post Shredded Wheat in January to encourage people to participate in the Senior Games. The 2014 games will be held June 1-8.
