WOODBURY - Mother’s Day is this Sunday and as a way to honor their mothers, some News 12 anchors and reporters brought their moms to the studio today for brunch catered by Elegant Affairs.

Elisa DiStefano, Rich Hoffman, Erin Colton and producer Alex Dollin’s mothers all arrived early to talk about how their children were growing up and hopefully not embarrass them. In addition, Elizabeth Hashagen’s children surprised her with flowers on air, and Carol Silva’s children taped a special message for her in their college dorm rooms.

Some ideas brought by Elegant Affairs for Mother’s Day include Cobb salad towers and roasted turkey breast on croissants.
