WHAT'S NEW: Great weather through the weekend with cool mornings and comfortably warm afternoons. We are tracking some rough conditions on the water for Friday and Saturday as Hurricane Earl passes far east of Long Island. A coastal flood advisory is in effect for the South Shore of Nassau at high tide with a high risk of rip currents and small craft advisory on the ocean.
WHAT'S NEXT: Unsettled weather early next week. Scattered rain showers will be around late Monday through Wednesday and possibly into Thursday morning. Temps will remain warmer than normal with highs near 80 degrees.
