Scheduled reconstruction in Concourse Village will cause lanes closure over the next few days.

The lane closures will be along Morris Avenue both northbound and southbound. Concourse Village West will be closed on just the northbound lane and the eastbound side of East 156th Street will also be shut down.

The city's of Department of Transportation tweeted to say that at least one lane will be open at all times.

Residents say it may be a little frustrating at first, but will be worth it.

"It's going to be a little rough because of the courthouses and stuff," says Miguel Torres of Concourse Village. "But besides that, it'll be good."

The reconstruction and lane closures will last throughout the week of Feb. 17-21 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
