Dog Day Fridays for May 26
This week's dogs are up for adoption at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 51 Lamar St. in West Babylon. Their phone number is (631) 643-9270.
Adam is cordial to all those that he meets and he is well mannered. Adam came to the shelter with a body condition leading the shelter to believe that he spent extended amounts of time outside. He is under treatment for food allergies and he has done really well with his limited ingredient dog food; he also loves his carrots and apple slices for treats. Adam is also blind, but he learns his surroundings very quickly and has an amazing ability to adjust.
Kroy was found in one of Town of Babylon's parks. He was happy to run up to strangers and ask for help. When Kroy came to the shelter he was very underweight and filthy. He got three baths and his fur still isn't white where it should be white. Kroy is very affectionate, he likes to lean and rub his body to get as close as he can. Kroy has shown good dog skills at the shelter, he has interest in getting to meet dogs and acts very playful towards them.
Venus is a sweet girl, down on her luck when she came to the shelter. She had a few bite wounds and was underweight. Venus is full of energy and loves to run and play. Venus loves her treats, and she is pretty good at searching them out in the play yard to find them when tossed.
