Grief counselors visited P.S. 205 Monday to help students cope with the mysterious death of a second-grade classmate.

A medical examiner found 7-year-old Justin Leith did not have the antibiotic-resistant strain of staph infection called MRSA, which is blamed in the death of a Brooklyn boy. Police have also ruled out foul play. The medical examiner says the cause of death should be determined within the next two weeks.

The Department of Education and teachers' union sent grief counselors to the elementary school to speak to students, as well as their parents and teachers. Counselors helped people express their feelings about the death.

Police say Leith passed out Friday in the bathroom at the Southern Boulevard school. A staff member tried to revive the boy to no avail.

On Monday, many parents told News 12 The Bronx they're pleased with the school's response to the tragedy. The school sent children home with letters Friday explaining Leith's death. The principal was also on hand to answer questions Monday.
