Councilman Andy King partnered up with the Bronx Youth Empower Program to celebrate the 2018 graduating class.

The 2018 Youth Day Graduation Cookout honored the achievements of young Bronx residents with performances, games and food. Organizations that provide services for young people and their families were also at the event.

"We want to recognize the greatness of the Bronx and let kids know that they have reached a milestone and we're counting on them to do more," King said.

In addition to the festivities, King also handed out awards to several of the students.
