News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says temperatures will be on the rise through Friday with some rain in the forecast for the weekend.
WHAT'S NEW: Clear and cool tonight with some fog by morning. Fog burns off giving way to sunshine and nice weather. Less wind for Wednesday.
WHAT'S NEXT: Warmer temperatures by the end of the week with the chance for some scattered showers Friday night into Saturday.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows near 49. Patchy fog by daybreak. East northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:23.
WEDNESDAY: Morning fog followed by mostly sunny skies with some haze from time to time. Nice and pleasant with highs near 72. East southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunset: 8:17.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear and mild with lows near 55. Light east to north winds.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs near 78. Lows near 58.
FRIDAY: Sun and clouds. Very warm with highs near 85. Mostly cloudy at night with the slight chance of a shower. Lows near 58.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny with the chance of a few showers. Highs near 72. Lows near 52.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs near 72. Lows near 55.
