Commuters say they're frustrating with figuring out how to adjust to construction on Bainbridge Avenue between Jerome Avenue and East 211th Street.
As first reported by the Norwood News, the roadway has less room for vehicles ever since barricades were put up on the northbound side, restricting traffic to one way.
The goal of the project is to replace a trunk water main, which is expected to make water service more reliable in the area. It's expected to be completed by mid-summer.
The Department of Design and Construction says the street will remain as a temporary one-way road since it is not wide enough to accommodate drivers going both ways during construction.
