Large sinkholes along the Grand Concourse has Community Board 5 calling for change.

According to the board, a 5-foot-deep sinkhole at E. 175th Street and Grand Concourse has posed a safety threat to pedestrians and drivers for months. A board member claims several of his calls to 311 have yielded no results. Another sinkhole sits at E. 182nd Street and Grand Concourse. Community Board 5 members complain the city performed poor work at the spot, causing the hole to recently reopen.

News 12 The Bronx is awaiting comment from officials about the sinkhole problem along the Grand Concourse.
