The City of Long Beach has been ordered to pay $131 million in damages to a local developer.
An attorney representing Sinclair Haberman and Belair Building says the firm has been trying to build on a plot of land for more than 30 years.
Court rulings show that the city had illegally stalled a proposed development of three residential buildings. After years of obstructions, just one has been built.
The developer's lawyer says they want to finally finish what they started.
News 12 has reached out to the city for comment, but haven't heard back.
