A special 100th birthday surprise took place in East Meadow for a World War II Navy veteran.
A car parade was held for Frank Loglisci at Sunrise Assisted Living Facility.
Attendees included his friends, family and Nassau police.
Loglisci served aboard the destroyer USS Caldwell during the 1940s, where he survived a deadly battle.
Officers say they are honored to celebrate his birthday.
Frank's family says they look forward to celebrating his 101st birthday.
